These CVs are blind reviews recorded by our team to give applicants a snapshot of what someone who has worked in graduate headhunting and with application teams thinks about your CV.
How does RAG work?
We mark all CVs in a 3 code colour system giving each main point a comment for you to review back.
Red - Outdated or poor quality content we recommend removing.
Amber - Good content that needs to add something to feel strong
Green - Your best content, we want to recreate this where we can.
How does our scoring work
Our scoring system is internal but can be disclosed to students who give permission for CV marketing or want to know their own score privately. This score gives an indication of how ready a candidate is for the application market.
1/5:
2 or 3 major issues hold this CV back. We will either direct you to our CMD CV template to support a full rewrite or we will give you 3 improvement points. We will also make it clear we do not recommend applying yet.
2/5:
The CV is lacking in 1 major area or 2 minor ones. We will direct you to redo these sections and resubmit.
3/5:
This CV is good, it may lack consistent metrics, brand presence or experience but you do a good job of communicating value and are intentional. We will give you 2-3 improvement points based on your aims.
4/5:
This CV is ready for market. It might not be perfect but for most roles it won't be an issue. We will focus on one key improvement area.
5/5:
We do not think the CV will be the issue in your application. Instead we urge you to focus on the other component's of the application including networking, aptitude tests and interview prep which we can help with in our 1-1 mentoring sessions.
